The Magdalene Effect

As promised, I am excited and honored to share with you Magdalene's response to a recent question posed to her by one of her Devotees.  Nicole wrote to me and asked, "I read somewhere that Magdalene is a Christian.  How does she feel that her career choice isn't contradicting to her religion?".

This is what Magdalene had to say in response -

 

"Yes, I am a Christian and more importantly, a “Gnostic” Christian. Just because I am a Christian, does not mean that I belong to any organized religion, or that I believe in the Bible or it’s contents within, because I DON’T.
 

What does it mean to be a “Christian” anyway? It is actually quite simple. It means that you have love, compassion, sympathy, empathy, understanding & tolerance of your fellow men & women. It means that you are kind to animals & have respect for all living creatures. It means that you do no intentional harm to any living soul & that you always do the “right thing” no matter what (think Karma). It means that you give, without expecting anything in return & you think of others before yourself. It means that you must try to imagine walking in others shoes.
 

Now, regarding sex,
most organized religions will have you believe that sex is bad & that it’s only good for one thing, procreating & bringing poor suffering souls into this world. Of course that’s what they tell you, because the more children you have, the more followers they will have to support their cause & finance their churches/institutions. One of the biggest culprits of this logic is "The Catholic Church”. It is no surprise then, that they have “ A Billion” followers around the world. Blasphemous, you might say………right? If sex is so “evil” why are priests & clergy craving it so badly. It’s because it’s not natural to deny those instincts. It’s because it is an act that we so desperately need, in this life that we live. Sex is as much a part of our life, as the air we breathe, the food we eat, or the water we drink. Not one of these institutions talks about the beauty of sex & what it’s really for. Making love to another person is the most beautiful & purest of acts when it is done between two consenting adults who truly love each other. It can be a transcendental experience & in that moment of orgasm it’s almost as if you have touched the divine, our creator if you will. It can be a very emotional moment. Making love to another person is not all just about the act of sex. There is a reason for it. You are sharing your touch, your senses, your emotion & more importantly your energy with that other person & in that moment of orgasm, you truly become one with each other.
 

I am an adult film actress & proud of it. I make no apologies for what I do. I want the viewer to reach that state of “bliss" when they watch me make love on film & if I have accomplished that, then that is what makes me happy. I do what everyone else does in the world but I just happen to do it on film & in front of a camera & because of that, performers like myself are criticized. However, I don’t see it that way. I think we are doing the world a service. There are a handful of people who do what I do in the world, who have the freedom to put everything out there for the world to see. We are liberated souls who have no sexual hang ups. I know that I have affected many people around the world in a positive way & some have even learned from me. I am being natural with myself & who I am & that is what I believe our creator expects of us, I think. To be true to who we are, because it is then that we truly grow. However, my work does not define me. It is just a small part of who I am.
 

In closing, I can honestly say that I know in my soul that my Creator, my God/Goddess, my true Mother/Father in the Universe do not judge me. They love me for being ME, no matter what."

Is it just me, or am I the only one who can feel Magdalene's true passion and love for her work, as well as the people and animals she surrounds herself with?  I doubt it.  Magdalene's response is direct, insightful and truthful.  It allows us to get to know a little bit more about who she is and what she is really about.
